Debuted in 2020, Upper Forest Hill’s Chinese History summer program is designed to help Canadian-Chinese students learn about Chinese culture and dynastic history.
In this 6-week program, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the origins of the Chinese civilization, creation legends, folklore Kings, and the development of Chinese culture dating back 4000+ years. Students will then be introduced to the important eras throughout Chinese history and key figures that had shaped Chinese society.
Through interactive activities and group assignments, students will research a historical event or phenomenon under the instructor’s supervision and practice their presentation skills in class.
